Thinking right about each other

Paul Thompson

Mat 18:10  "See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. Mat 18:12  What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? Mat 18:13  And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. Mat 18:14  So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

Walk straight

The talk –Jesus gives the talk

Big idea: Why we should think right about each other?

Christ says we are not to judge those in who look like no bodies because their of less birth, younger, shorter or of less rank or influence than others

Why? Christ gives us three reasons why were to think right about each other.

Because if we are his friend we have Angels, the Shepherd, and God the father..

Angels

You have your own angels, who see Christ's Fathers face therefore don't despise those who are nobodies

If those the world calls nobodies have angels who minister for them before the throne of God don't look down on them

The Shepherd

You have a shepherd who leaves/finds stray sheep > and rejoices over them when He finds them

"The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost." Luke 19:10 .

Put your thinking caps on - if those the world calls nobodies are like lost sheep a shepherd leaves his flock for to seek and find and rejoices and is glad then don't look down on them

God the Father

Because it's the Father's will nobodies want be destroyed, lost perish

This can only mean one thing - God's plan is those the world calls nobodies will finally not go astray from the right way wander, roam or be ruined.

What difference should it make in your life?

If your His child don't worry what others think about you -because you’ve got angels on your side/ rooting for you - How amazing is that

If you’re His child don't worry about what others think of you - God the father’s planned

you be safe that you from His holiness, anger and judgment if you’re His child

Don't worry what people think of you because Jesus is your shepherd who who has left his flock to looking for and find you who were lost, perishing, the ruined. He is saved you from His father God who must punish those who stray from Him. When Jesus the shepherd finds a lost nobodies like you he rejoices and so can you if Jesus has found you..

But if you aren’t God's child you are lost, perishing, and ruined to Him. The good news is Jesus is like a shepherd who who has left his flock to look for someone like you.  He can save you from His father God who must punish those who stray from Him. When Jesus the shepherd finds a lost nobodies like you he rejoices and so can you if Jesus has found you.. because of your rebellion. Trust in HIm to save you and turn from your lostness, ruin and destruction. Pray now for His wonderful free salvation and God will change you from the inside out. Don't delay another second, do it now and rejoice in being found by Jesus the shepherd of the sheep.

 Amen
